A well deserved Michelin star restaurant. Right in the middle of the city in between Moorgate and Liverpool Street (in fact, within minutes of walk to my office). Angler is on the top floor of the South Place Hotel with a terrace and plenty of large glass windows allowing plenty of light in. Food was simply delicious. The only complain I have if I wish my pocket was deep enough for lunching here every day.
We’ve been here twice. Once during a working weekday lunch service. Once during a bank holiday weekday. The service here at the Angler seem to have been adjusted based on the nature of the visit – whether it was a fast lunch that we have to dine and leave within the hour, or whether we have hours to spare in admiring the food.
